Le Jardin de Monet, les Iris (1900)<\/p>\n
In 1883 Monet rented a country residence in Giverny, a small town between Paris and Rouen. He was so enchanted by the house that he later bought it and spent the rest of his life there. He spent a great deal of time working in his garden which he referred to as his greatest masterpiece.
