About Us

Parastone. Creator of Museum Gifts.

For nearly 60 years, Parastone has brought art and design together in decorative sculptures and gift items for museums and retailers worldwide.

Craftsmanship in Focus

For nearly 60 years, Parastone has successfully designed and distributed decorative sculptures, partly characterized by timeless classical beauty and partly inspired by current trends. The Mouseion collection forms the heart of our assortment. In addition to faithful replicas of important and well-known artworks, Mouseion also includes three-dimensional interpretations of paintings and drawings by many artists, ranging from Jheronimus Bosch to Salvador Dalí, and from Degas to Gustav Klimt. Parastone also distributes successful sculptures by designers such as Guillermo Forchino, Albert Dubout, and Jacky Zegers throughout large parts of Europe.

Parastone is proud to count some of the world’s most renowned museums among its clients. Custom-designed sculptures are sold in institutions such as the © J. Paul Getty Museum and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. In addition to sculptures, Parastone also offers a variety of gift items, including vases, paperweights, and coasters.

Parastone sells exclusively to retailers and distributors. In countries including the Benelux, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, and Spain, Parastone supplies directly to retail stores. Outside these regions, Parastone also works with distributors. On our website, you can find which stores carry our products. Would you like to sell Parastone products in your store? History

Parastone is a family-owned company with a long history. The company originally started as part of the renowned art dealership “Borzo,” founded in 1880 when the Italian Joseph Borzo settled in Den Bosch. The business was later taken over by the Van Rosmalen family. Within the company, Parastone specialized in the restoration of primarily religious art. As more and more sculptures based on original designs were produced, it was decided in 1963 to establish Parastone as an independent company. Parastone is based in ’s-Hertogenbosch, a historic city in the south of the Netherlands and the birthplace of the famous medieval painter Jheronimus Bosch.

Quality

Parastone stands for high-quality products. Our sculptures are made from stone and marble powder, bonded together using resin. This production method ensures that the sculptures are solid, durable, and of exceptional quality.
