Description
The Notre Dame in Chartres undoubtedly has the most beautiful and best preserved 13th-century stained glass windows, each relating its own story. Here we see the northern rose window which is dedicated to the New Testament and the southern, dedicated to the Old Testament. The details depict the Last Supper and Saint Lubin (Leobinus) with a barrel of wine on his way to the cathedral.
