Rodin was fascinated by the expressiveness and symbolism of hands, and was a great admirer of Gothic architecture. Two majestic hands from a Gothic arch. This inspired the sculptor to call them ‘The Cathedral’. (RO26 – 17cm. / RO17 – 26cm.)
